1. What they are
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a website or its services in the browser. Local and session storage work similarly and keep settings on a specific device or for the current browser session.
2. What RANT uses
Necessary settings
rant-cookie-consent-v2 stores cookie categories, mechanism version and choice date. The necessary rant_lang cookie plus rant-language-manual-v1 and rant-language-session-v1 store the manual or automatic language choice. These records prevent repeated questions and let the server return matching language and SEO tags.
Payment page
When payment begins, the user leaves rant.ae for T‑Bank’s secure page. The bank applies its own cookies under its own policy.
Yandex Metrica
After consent, counter No. 111851425 records visits, navigation, clicks, device parameters and Webvisor sessions. The code does not load before a positive choice, and contact/payment fields are excluded from recording.
Server logs and language
Server logs are not cookies but may contain IP and request data. The server can derive an approximate country code to choose a language; details are in the privacy policy.
3. Change your choice
You may reopen the panel and disable analytics at any time. The site then stops Yandex Metrica; previously stored cookies can be removed in browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before the change.
4. Contact
Questions about cookies and personal data can be sent to info@rant.ae.
